Musicians
Our Community

Spirit of Life offers many ongoing social activities, both for fun and to enhance spiritual interaction among members, Friends and visitors. These include:

Book Discussion Group

Our book discussion group is open to members, Friends, visitors and the public. Each month we decide on a new book to read and discuss at our meeting following the service. For information on the current book, and/or how to join, please visit the link above.

Buddhist Discussion Group

Namaste! The Buddhist Discussion Group meets the first Wednesday of each month, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., in the parlor at SLUU. The group welcomes everyone interested in discussing Buddhist philosophy and is free. Love offerings are accepted to defray the cost of snacks and tea. For more information, please e-mail Todd Wilber at buddhist@spiritoflifeuu.org.

Circle Suppers

Groups of four to five families meet at one family's home (on a rotating basis) each month for supper and conversation. Each family contributes a course to the meal. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate. You don’t need to be able to cook, or be able to host. Each group works together to create an enjoyable event. To sign up, speak to Diana Dechichio at church, fill out our signup form at: Circle Supper Sign Up Form or e-mail us at: circlesupper@spiritoflifeuu.org

Covenant Groups

Covenant groups are small groups of members and/or Friends that meet once a month to discuss specific topics in a safe and loving environment of spiritual interaction. Among other things, covenant groups help foster and strengthen relationships within the church community, offer a spiritual setting for personal growth, and allow group members to interact on a meaningful level. For more information, or to join a covenant group, leave a message on our answering machine: (813) 792-1622, or e-mail us at info@spiritoflifeuu.org.

Family Game Night

Family Game Night continues on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Dungeons & Dragons for interested teens, board games and cards for everyone else. RSVPs are requested to (813) 792-1622, or e-mail us at lifespanRE@spiritoflifeuu.org.
